The Southview Cougar Varsity came up with one of the biggest wins in recent history Friday night by beating NLL favorite Anthony Wayne by a score of 8-6. Kirk Stambaugh went the distance in a game that saw the Cougars take an early 4-0 lead only to have the Generals tie it 6-6 in the 4th inning. The victory was a little bittersweet as Senior Tyler Gibson will be out for a while after dislocating his middle finger on his pitching hand following a double in the 6th inning. The Victory puts Southview alone at the top of the NLL with a 3-0 record.
